To lead the new Academics division, CSA Search & Consulting is proud to announce Charles Kaler as Vice President & Managing Director, Academics. With 15 years of proven experience in academic executive search, Charles brings a unique perspective and a proven track record of assisting preeminent colleges and research universities with searches for deans, provosts, presidents, and other critical academic roles.

Further strengthening its team, CSA Search & Consulting is pleased to announce Dr. Randy Woodson has joined as a Senior Consultant. Randy brings extensive leadership experience and expertise to the firm’s recruitment of senior academic administrators, following his distinguished 15-year tenure as Chancellor of North Carolina State University. He recently concluded several years of leadership within the NCAA, having served on the Board of Governors and Division I Board of Directors, in addition to the Transformation Committee and the Subcommittee on Congressional Engagement and Action. Prior to his tenure at NC State, he spent 25 years at Purdue University where he served as Executive Vice President and Provost. Randy provides invaluable on-campus perspective to CSA’s expanded offerings.
