CSA Search & Consulting today announced the appointment of Amanda Gross as Chief of Staff. In this role, Gross will lead internal operations, enhancing the firm’s organizational efficiency and supporting its growing impact in both higher education and college athletics.
Gross brings over 15 years of experience in higher education, including serving as Chief of Staff to both a Division I Athletics Director and a University President. At Daemen University, she served on the President’s Cabinet as a strategic officer and advisor and was the liaison to the board of trustees. She also spearheaded numerous VP and Dean searches and led the university’s strategic planning process.

Before her time at Daemen, Gross spent ten years in collegiate athletic administration. She began her career at the University of South Florida and went on to hold athletics development roles at the University of Miami, Duke University, and the University of Mississippi. She later served as Chief of Staff to the Athletics Director at the University at Buffalo.

A native of Tampa, Gross holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Colby College, a Master of Science in Education from the University of Miami, and a Doctorate in Education from the University of Missouri. She resides in Charlotte, NC with her husband, Eric, and their twin sons.
